I. Technical Principle of Electrically Controlled Permanent Magnetic Chuck
1.Magnetic circuit switching mechanism
The interior of an electrically controlled permanent magnetic chuck is composed of permanent magnets (such as neodymium iron boron and alnico) and electrically controlled coils. The magnetic circuit direction is changed by applying a pulse current (1 to 2 seconds).
The two states of the electronically controlled permanent Magnetic Chuck.
Magnetization state: The magnetic field lines penetrate the surface of the workpiece, generating a strong adsorption force of 13-18 kg/cm² (twice that of ordinary suction cups)
Demagnetization state: The magnetic field lines are closed within, the surface of the suction cup has no magnetism, and the workpiece can be directly removed.
(As shown in the figure, if both buttons are pressed simultaneously, the suction cup's magnetism will disappear.)
2.Design of Energy Efficiency for Electrically Controlled Magnetic Chuck
Only power consumption occurs during the magnetization/de-magnetization process (DC 80~170V), while it consumes zero energy during operation. It is more than 90% energy-efficient compared to electromagnetic suction pads.
II. Core Advantages of Electrically Controlled Permanent Magnetic Chuck
| Advantage Dimension | Defects of traditional fixtures. |
| Accuracy Guarantee | Mechanical clamping causes the workpiece to deform. |
| Clamping Efficiency | It takes 5 to 10 minutes to manually lock it. |
| Security | Hydraulic/pneumatic system leakage risk. |
| Utility Rate of Space | The pressure plate restricts the processing range. |
| Long - run Cost | Regular maintenance of seals/hydraulic oil. |
III.Internal one-piece molding, without moving parts, and lifetime maintenance-free. Three. Selection and application points of electrically controlled permanent Magnetic Chuck.
1.Selection Guide
Please check whether the main materials you process have magnetic properties. If they do, choose the electrically controlled permanent magnetic chuck. Then, based on the size of the workpiece, if the size is larger than 1 square meter, choose the strip chuck; if the size is less than 1 square meter, choose the grid chuck. If the material of the workpiece does not have magnetic properties, you can choose our vacuum chuck.
Note: For thin and small workpieces: Use extremely dense magnetic blocks to enhance the local suction force.
Five-axis machine tool: It should be equipped with a raised design to avoid interference.
If you have a non-standard electrically controlled permanent magnetic chuck, please contact us and we will help you manufacture it.
2.Troubleshooting Techniques for Electrically Controlled Permanent Magnetic Chuck:
| Fault phenomenon | Testing steps |
| Insufficient magnetic force | The multimeter measures the resistance of the coil (normal value is 500Ω) |
| Magnetization failure | Check the output voltage of the rectifier |
| Magnetic flux leakage interference | Sealant aging detection |
IV.Operation Method of Meiwha Electric Control Permanent Magnetic Chuck
1.Take out the Pressure plate. put the pressure plate into the groove of the disk, and then lock the screw to secure the disk.
1
2.In addition to the left, the disk can also be fixed with a fixed hole to fix the disk. take the T-shaped block into the machine T-shaped groove, and then with hexagoal screws can be locked.
2
3.The disk with the magnetic guide block locked is fixed on the machining surface Behind the platform. Whether or not the disk is 100% flat with the platform fine. Please finish on the surface of the magnetic block or disk.
3
4.Before connecting the quick connector. Use an air gun to clear the inside of the quick connector, and then check whether there is water. oil, or foreign matter in the inside to avoid burning up the internal circuit after power on.
4
5. Please put the controller connector groove(as shown in the red circle) up wards, and then insert the disk quick connector.
5
6.When the quick connector is connected to the disk connector. Tum to the right, lock the connector into the tenon, and hear a click to make sure the connection is complete to prevent water from entering the disk.
